Illustrated talk by Kopal Goyal and Zhen Paintal representing Project Wild Women Team which is documenting adventure and extreme sports being done by women in India. Athletes Sunita Chauhan ( Kayaking), Ramanjot Kaur ( Trail Running and Marathon) and Prerna Dangi ( Ice Climbing), Kopal Goyal ( Rock Climbing) who are a part of Project Wild Women will share their achievement in their area of interest.
Project Wild Women’ is a film in the making, featuring women, all around India who are engaged in extreme and adventure sports, presented by InspireCrew.
The completed film will cover 16 women athletes engaged in 12 extreme and alternative sports like long-boarding, skateboarding, surfing, paragliding, downhill mountain biking, ice climbing, skiing, rock climbing, trail running, high-line, base jumping and kayaking with special focus on the athletes and their personal stories of coming forward in their fields. In an illustrated talk the Inspire Crew and Project Wild Women team will present a short version of their upcoming film and select athletes who are being featured in the film will share a presentation on their achievement in their area of interest. The larger goal of the Project Wild Women team is to enhance the awareness on women adventures in India and how they are taking to extreme and adventure sports.
