BIO
Shraddha got introduced to skateboarding by her father as he used to serve as a watchman for a sports retailer store in Pune, and there a few skateboarders used to practice which attracted Shraddha's attention when she was 12 years old. As there were no girl skateboarders in the city, she found no role model but when opposed by her extended family members she decided to grow with skateboarding.
"In my village, I have seen that girls are forced to get married at a very young age, they are deprived of education, access to playground, not encourage to become independent. This makes a saddest and vulnerable that I am unable to help those girls. Since then I have decided to change this social perspective that girls can do anything and they have the right to education, play and live life their own way."
MISSION
She aims to represent India at the Olympics and become a role model in the society. She also envisions diversify skateboarding community by encouraging more girls to participate in skateboarding.
